Suceeded as heir; created Baronet, 25 April 1644; fined (with son Thomas) by the Sequestrators £330, 1648; mortgaged the manor of Hulme to Nicholas Mosley of Ancoats, July 15 1645; Act passed confirming the sale of teh manor of Hulme and lands in Manchester to Sir Edward Mosley 1661; died without surviving issue, 1689.
