William Duxbury - Son of Daniel Duxbury & Martha
Born: 11 Sep 1850
Abode: Padiham
Occupation: Weaver
Baptised by: Wm Sharp

Appears as Edmondson Duxbury, the son of John Duxbury, in the 1881 Census, but all other records are as Edmondson Waite. Baptism, Marriage, Death and other Census records.
Conclusion is that the 1881 census is incorrect in naming him a Duxbury and inferring that he was the son of John Duxbury.
No father named at Baptism of when married.
He was the illegitimate son of Alice Waite and his father may have been John Duxbury (Alice and John married when Edmondson was about 3), but there is no other known indication that John might have been his father.
