Was William the son of Elizabeth Duxbury and Mr Fletcher?
Such a supposition would be consistent with a baptism (in Altham) away from the stated abode in Symonstone

Suggestion is that William was a grandson of Robert Duxbury (1807-1874); supported by William's first born being named Robert.
This is also supported by both William and George (his cousin) living at the same address in 1871.
Unclear how his mother, Elizabeth, fits in as Robert's daughter. Elizabeth died in 1834, a few years before William was born. Was Elizabeth the correct name as given at the baptism?
