Obituary Sumner WA newspaper, Apr. 11, 1943:
Wallace Harvey Dunn passed away at his home at 1102 Academy, Sunday evening, April 11. Mr. Dunn lived in Sumner 32 years and for most of that time was engaged in painting and carpenter work until about two years ago, when because of illness he was compelled to retire.
Mr. Dunn was born at Canova, So. Dakota, on October 21, 1884. He is survived by his wife, Edith Dunn of Sumner, and one sister, Mrs. Ruby Coates of Academy, So. Dakota. Funeral services will be from Phil's Sumner Funeral Chapel Thursday a 2 p.m., Rev. A. J. Bailes officiating. Interment in Sumner cemetery.

Obituary, OLYMPIAN, Olympia, WN, May 23, 1982
Fern L. Beadles died Friday, May 21, in St. Peter Hospital at the age of 76. She was born June 5, 1905, in Canova, S.D.
She was a resident of this area since 1934, and had been employed by the sate until her retirement 10 years ago. She was a member of Lacey Community Church and Royal Neighbors.
Mrs. Beadles is survived by her husband, Charles O., at the family home; a daughter, Mrs. Charlene Krall, Lacey; a sister, Mrs. Ethel Jukam, Howard, S.D.; also one grandchild.
The funeral service will be at 2 P.M. Tuesday, May 25, in the Forest Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. Michael I. Walsh officiating. Burial will be at Forest Memorial Gardens. The family suggest memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity.

Personal description at time of enlistment: Height 6 ft., light complexion, hazel eyes, dark brown hair. He Was married at least twice before he married Henrietta and had several children. The military spelled his name Humphries and he then spelled it that way most of the time, particularly for leal documents. N
