In the 1841 Census for Bury North, Paradise Street we found:
Ann Ashworth 35
Mary Ashworth 15 daughter cotton power weaver
Joseph Ashworth 15 son cotton power weaver
James Ashworth 10 son cotton power weaver
Sarah Ann Ashworth 10 daughter
Under the column Born in the County, "Yes" was checked for all.
However, we know that is inaccurate because Sarah Ann was born in Leeds.
The ages are also really rough estimates and a bit sloppy. (Rounded to nearest 5 years)
Apparently John Ashworth died sometime between 1831 and 1841 and his widow and children returned to Bury..

In 1851 Census for Bury, Bell Lane we found:
Ann Ashworth 47 born in Bury
Joseph Ashworth 24 born in Bury
Sarah Ann Ashworth 21 born in Leeds, Yorkshire
Robert Peel 27 son-in-law
Mary Peel 26 daughter born in Bury
Strangely, James does not show up in the Bury 1851 Census.

We found John Ashworth and Ann Willins on 18 October 1824 in the marriage register of St. John Chapel, Bury and we assume that is our John and Ann. John was a cotton spinner at the time of his marriage.
